Austin RTC, Inc.
Austin, TX
Systems Engineer
Austin RTC, Inc. was a small NCR VAR with a niche, it provided semi-custom
systems to fabricating companies in the window covering industry. The system’s
strength was in its order entry module and production module which were
tailored very nicely for the industry. It was also a complete system with
Inventory, A/R, A/P, G/L and Payroll as well. Right out of college I was
responsible for traveling to a new client’s site and setting up the hardware,
training the users, returning to the office with a lists of programming

care of and developed excellent rapport with them. This system was written in
RM COBOL and ran under ATT UNIX.
